I've been online for almost 120 hours.

Who knows how much longer I'll get before I'm booted?

Problem is I won't find out because stupid Windows has become unstable from running for so long and I can't do anything useful so I'll hafta reboot.

get a mac den. or use nix :)~

the former Just Works (tm). only if its OSX. anything prior to that partakes in necrophiliac beastiality. nix you need to set up correctly but most "default" setups do the job fine.

i think that guy on the geeks mailing list is right though -- if nix did take over from macroshite as the os of choice all the hardcore geeks out there would immediately hate it and find some other underdog to support.

Um, I'm assuming "get a mac den" means get a MacIntosh.

Not possible, no money.

Use Linux. The only games I like aren't supported by it. It would take ages to learn how to install and use it. I am using a computer that belongs to my parents. It's hard enough to teach them the ins and outs of Winblows, can you imagine the chaos if I stuck on a new OS?

ahh yes puta illiterate parents, what fun :) i dont bother trying to teach my parents or anyone from that generation anything unless they ask me (they usually too busy anyway)

100% agreement. XP is much better than 98, though.
