I saw the lightning... waited on the thunder... waited on the thunder.

Woken up this morning by a pretty loud rumble of thunder. It was followed a few seconds later by a boom loud enough to vibrate the house and set off a car alarm. Musta terrified the cat.

That was followed by a torrent of rain. Got up to check the rain data online, just as I was bringing up the page there was a boom then a flash and everything electrical in the house turned off. So we unplugged the computer and I went back to bed.

It passed within a matter of minutes.

I will give porridge a shot this morning. Last night I dreamed that I could open my mouth wide enough to see my stitches. Then I dreamt some of the stitches came out but instead of a thread it was a chunk of gauze... weird. It was lucky because I right near a dentist at the time. My dreams are so bizarre.

I made a CD called Night Moves with that song on it. It's full of lots of moody, mellow, late night music. I think it's my favourite homemade CD, I love listening to it driving home at night. I have on it I Walk Away by Split Enz and I Drove All Night by Cyndi Lauper and I always sing them at the top of my lungs in the car.
