The Sims just EATS time.

You start playing at 10:30am.

15 minutes later it's 2:30pm.

How does it manage that???

Cause you're trying to race *their* clock!

I got so fed up of it taking '45 minutes' for my little sim to get out of bed and use the bathroom -not even showering - (and always missing her ride to work of COURSE) that I stopped playing altogether. :P

go there, click on objects, then the appliances icon and download the purple coffee machine.

It's about the only essential sims download (and cheat), it will make things so much easier.

When a Sim drinks the coffee everyone on the block has all their bars go to full green.

I like to build a 1x1 room towards the back of the lot with a bench in it so I can hide it from them occaisionally, they just sit around burping and drinking more coffee if you let them drink it and leave them, which gets a little boring sometimes.

But it's great for quickly making friends and getting up skills points.
