gemfyreSome of the swans at Herdsman are keen. Saw a couple with 6 cygnets this afternoon. The coots were also getting rather frisky.
Two LARGE flocks of Glossy Ibis flew by, and I saw a Whistling Kite swoop down and take a very large fish from the same area where I saw a Darter with a similar sized fish - must be good fishing there. I reckon the fish are introduced carp. I stood by the water for about 10 minutes looking for fish, but didn't see any.
