Lightning rounds

gemfyreThese lightning rounds are starting to remind me of bribery at quiz nights.
Sure it's fun and all, but some people will always be at a disadvantage because of it.
Quiz night bribery points always put those that can't afford to spend loads of money on bribes at a disadvantage, thus they lose even though they may have got more actual questions correct.
Therefore, I feel the lightning rounds should be something like Matt & I did for the last Mars quiz night.
There was a prize for those who won the quiz night on their knowledge merit, what a quiz night is meant to be about. And then there was a prize for the best briber.
The hunt prizes should be decided on the actual steps and bonus rounds that everyone gets a chance at. There should be a seperate prize for the lightning round winner.
Even tho Wolfie promises that there will be bolts posted for those elsewhere in the world. So far I have seen only 2 bolts that appeared at a reasonable hour in Australia. And one of those I lost on because I misinterpreted the request, mine was the second photo up, I can't afford stuff like that if I'm going for lightning points.

Date: 2003-05-23 02:17 am (UTC)Oh well, I expect there are more US ppls in the comp than in other Aus and similar timezone... so if Wolfie does make good an post bolts for Aussies, you'll have the advantage of less competition, no?
But yeah, that sucks.
Karaoke still on? I shouldn't go, I have so much work to do, but dammit, I can't go next week, and I wanna!
