gemfyre1. What spooked you out for no good reason?
I saw Gremlins when I was 5 or so and loved it, but I was always scared they'd come through the crack in the bathroom roof. I also imagined this weird yellow fish in the garden outside my window and it was really scary to me for some reason. It makes absolutely no sense writing it, but I can still see that scary fish in my mind.
2. What was your coolest secret place?
I don't think I had a secret place. But we had a big bush at the back of the yard that was hollow inside so it was pretty much my cubby house.
3. What was your weirdest/most interesting hobby?
Anything to do with bugs. I was a nature lover from an early age.
4. What did you want to be when you grew up?
An actress, a ranger, a vet. I guess I kinda ended up with the ranger one.
5. Did you have an imaginary friend?
Of course! His name was Brinky and he was soooo small that he could walk between your pinched fingers and it would be like a massive chasm to him. That's why you couldn't see him. ;)
6. What was your funniest misconception?
I thought the Darling Ranges on the horizon were India. Of course it was only 15km away.
7. Who or what was your nemesis?
Didn't have one.
8. What silly kid stunts could you do that you were most proud of?
I could pull the heads off my My Little Ponies and swap them around. I wasn't really a physical child. I'm not really a physical adult. Oh! I could put my foot on my forehead, that's probably the weird stunt I did most often.
9. What food would you not eat, no matter what?
Oh I hated rice (saw the error of my ways) and onion (still don't like it but I'll eat it). I think I was made to eat a bit of everything though, which I'm grateful for today.
10. What item did you lose that haunted you?
I can't think of anything from my childhood. Later in life I lost a beanie that meant a lot to me and cried for a while, but I can't think of any childhood thing that I lost.
