Well. It seems Greg would rather me sit in the office and read LJ than assist with trapping and monitoring if it's "not relevant" to my area. It might "take up too much time". Time I would have spent twiddling my thumbs otherwise.

And here we are, I'm finally trying to organise stuff and immediately everything goes pear shaped. It's like someone knows how scared/worried I am so deliberately throws me for six whenever I try to take a positive step forward.
