gemfyreI think this is becoming a new hobby. It's so much more interesting than vegging in front of a damn computer screen.
Many magpies and some crows hang around the Mars room at uni. Today I put out Terry's leftover pasta for them to eat. Magpies come running over and take a bit and eat it. Crows come bouncing over, scare away magpies. Crows stuff as much of the stuff as possible into their beaks before flying away with their loot. Magpies continue to delicately pick at the rest of the food.
Magpies are soooo much nicer than crows, and crows can't sing.

And magpies do indeed rock. Though I like the crows too, for their amusing quirks :) But magpies' songs are definately my favourite. And they always act so intelligently. Though the willy wagtails on campus are just as cool in that respect. I swear they have brains equivalent to a small mammal's, if not better... definately seem smarter than a lot of mice I know :) And a willy wagtail followed me around for a bit around 6pm, which I found very flattering ^^ It flew away when I showed to much interest and tried to approach it myself, though.
I love it when animals take an interest in you ^_^ That way we have a mutually benefitting relationship ;)
