Narrogin social scene

gemfyreJust went to the Narrogin trots because it was free, bunch of people from work were going.
Got there in time for the last race so we put a few dollars on. I bet on a horse with purple and yellow silks - not the favourite. Most of the others bet on the favourite.
Come the start of the race my horse was in front and the favorite stumbled and fell to the back of the pack. I'm so good at picking the horse that will be at the front until the last 100m or so then fall way behind.
The favourite went up in the pack quite a bit but I don't think he even placed in the end.
My horse? Ahead the whole damn race and won by almost an entire length. I got $10.40 back, better than a kick in the face certainly. :)
