*scrounges up more money*

gemfyreLil has a corneal ulcer. Somehow she got a scratch on her eye. The cornea is kinda folded up in an area which is hindering it's healing process.
It'll cost around $200 to put her under for an op to remove the fold so it can heal properly. Right now money is tight due to my moving but I can borrow from mum & dad and pay it back once I start work, it's not really a matter of cost. Time is a bit short, I'm wanting to move within the next fortnight, if I get it done within the next few days she'll have a week or so to recover.
At least while she's under I can also get her teeth cleaned and claws trimmed if it's not too expensive.
She also has skin cancer on her nose, which I suspected. I'm not sure if much can really be done about that. I'll just have to be more dilligent about putting sunscreen on her, even though she washes it straight off. At least lately - I imagine because of her eye - she's spending most of the time inside sleeping.
Bella is fit and healthy and just a smidge tubby. She's also daft. :)
What choice do you have? You can't just neglect them, like you wouldn't neglect a human child. Money is no issue in these cases, you find it somehow. The $700 in my Paypal account is finally coming in handy.
