Gargling saltwater sucks

But so does this sore throat. It's really sore, and really weird because the rest of me is peachy when usually a sore throat makes me feel like shit and is often the precursor to a bad cold. Weird.

And after singing and stuff at karaoke last night it actually felt BETTER.

I checked: the version of 19/2000 that I have is the same as the one at Karaoke, weirdly. I wasn't aware there was more than one version, I just d/Loaded the top one on the list.

i can't stand salt water either, yuck!
i use cayanne instead. hot water, as if for tea, teaspoon of cayanne pwd, the cayanne does not dissolve, so you need to stir before you drink. and yeah, drink, not gargle. the cayanne is not only an analgesic but an antiseptic as well. believe me i know it sounds horrific, pepper on my throat? i was very very reluctant to try it the first time to but i swear by it now, noone ever believes me...but..

I can't stand anything vaguely hot like chilli and pepper, so I think for me this would be a BAD idea.

that is what everyone says till they try it, that was my first exclamation too, "you've got to be kidding me! no way!" but i swear it works like a charm...
