Full of steak

gemfyreMum took me out for dinner - I had the surf and turf. Twas nice, but 5 potatoes is excessive...
Last time something like this happened was back in 1990 when I won the Matchbox Carousel. I was SO SURE I was going to win it. I organised where I'd put it and everything. I had one entry in a national competition. I wasn't watching the T.V. when it was drawn - I was out the front. My sister came dashing out to tell me.
It seems if I really, truly want something and have an unwavering sureness in my mind then things will happen. This sureness comes very rarely however. But once again, today it came through.
The timing was perfect. It's the ultimate opportunities and will give me the chance to break bad habits and assess myself.
Instead of trying to get to sleep to the roar of cars on the freeway and the booming base and loud yelling of my obnoxious neighbours I'll have silence, maybe the faint shush of waves crashing on the shore of Roebuck Bay. It will be sparse living, but like monks in their simple rooms, I think it will be very good for me.
But right now I need to tidy my room a little so I can at least find my bed. Been so damn busy lately.
