Why I don't like war

gemfyreMost people are anti-war due to the human casualties it will cause, and sure that's bad. But my main gripe about war these days is the sheer destruction of it.
There is war in the Congo region, there has been for years. Because of it one of the world's most pristine and biodiverse habitats is threatened. Due to the war the country is poor as dirt and the people have to resort to eating and selling bushmeat and making money on furs and tusks. Species are going extinct at an alarming rate because of stupid human's fighting.
And bombs! Let's just destroy the entire karst topography of Iraq and Afghanistan, all the explosions will surely set the three tectonic plates that meet in that area into shifting and causing MASSIVE quakes, which will destroy cities elsewhere, and natural ecosystems.
Vietnam has recently been safe enough for western scientists to enter and look around and they are discovering new species of LARGE MAMMALS!! I hate to think of all the undiscovered species that were made extinct due to constant bombing and stuff like Agent Orange.
If wars must be fought let it be between JUST the people who have the quarrel. And let them fight like "real men" with bows and arrows or knives and swords. That way only the two arguing are killed and everyone else can continue to live peacefully in an environment that hasn't been destroyed.

I recall reading somewhere that if you announce you are an anarchist they will not let you into the U.S.
