Birds talk to me...

gemfyreIn Adelaide now. Christmas happened, got lots of cool camping and house stuff and such. Matt and I knew exactly what we'd bought for each other because we were both rushed and got the obvious thing, at least it was something we wanted. I also lost a day somewhere and for the first half of Christmas Eve I still thought it was the 23rd. When I worked it all out in my head it made sense but it was just weird. My mobile phone tells me the time and date but doesn't have the day so I have to stop and think about what day it is.
Went on a drive in the Flinders Ranges up to Wilpena Pound which was awesome, didn't spot any rock wallabies however. Took loads of pics, will organise all that when I get home.
Also have a deep and meaningful post for when I get home. I really need to find some people with my state of mind, rather than being stuck with people who have completely different concepts of fun and enjoyment and not having much fun and enjoyment myself because of it. I've been a loner all my life and I'm content to be that way rather than have people with me who don't see things the way I do and just deride my enjoyment of things, but I'd love to find people who appreciate the world the way I do that I can share that joy with.
Heh, well that was most of the d&m post right there. Bet you knew I'd do that eh?? ;)
The Mynah birds confuse me, they whistle like 28 parrots, little bastards. And the magpies are awesome, even if they do speak a foreign language.
