Pasted from MLPTP
Apr. 22nd, 2003 09:47 amI've pondered this many a time, after seeing people ask for postage prices time after time on the TP.
It seems that in the U.S. postage is never at a stable price.
I never have any problems calculating shipping prices within Australia or overseas. I have 2 sheets of paper from the post office. One for within Australia and one for overseas.
All I have to do is package up my item. Weigh it on our kitchen scales and use the sheets to calculate postage. I only need to know the weight, dimensions and where it is going and bobsuruncle, I have a shipping price that WILL NOT CHANGE. If it is a large package I let the buyers know prices for air, economy and sea mail and let them decide which method they would like.
Why is so awkward to get a price in the U.S.??
