gemfyreShe awoke without having remembered going to sleep. The bed was only covered in a bottom sheet, she must have been in the middle of making it before drifting off. The radio was on... she couldn't recall switching it on. "Hip To Be Square" by Huey Lewis And The News was fading out and being followed by "Video Killed The Radio Star" by the Buggles. Eighties music, cool... An arm stretched above her head as she came fully awake and rolled over. She rolled over and focused on the calendar on her wall. Her gaze drifted over the small squares to the year typed in red in the bottom right corner...
She came fully awake, was this some kind of joke? Instead of 2003 the year read "1983".
