I finally wrote a list, because mum or Matt always ask me, "What do you want?" and of course asking that makes me forget everything immediately. This year I'm just hoping for services/money for services more than items, the "stuff" I want is too expensive to ask for as a gift.
Knife sharpening
Snorkelling trips/tours
Binocular repair - the eyepiece of my beloved bins has broken, it will cost around $100 to fix. :(
Gardening services
"Stuff" I'd like
Retort stand - at least 50cm - I can see this being very useful in the kitchen, but they are hard to come by and pretty pricey, being lab equipment and all.
Modernist Cuisine - a $400 epic of a coobook
A Sous Vide setup
A pudding bowl/steamer - hey, that's not prohibitively expensive!
