Coriander leaf is yuck. I don't mind the seed ground.

I should have specified that I meant the leaf. Most people seem to not mind the seed, the leaf has a soapy taste that some people can't stand.

I used to be on the side of "tastes like soap so it's awful". But while I was in Broome I was exposed to it a lot and eventually grew to love it. So much for it apparently being a genetic thing.

To me the leaf tastes like perfume. I don't like the taste of perfume. I don't like the smell of most perfumes. I guess I might acquire the taste if I there was no other choice. But for now, like the other Cs that I dislike (Celery and capsicum) I'm not feeling like acquiring the taste.

On the toilet roll thing. Personally when just my house over is definitely the way. However I can understand why a household with young children would choose the under setup.

By "utterly disgusting" I mean "would not eat it by choice but won't bother picking it off of certain specific foods such as banh mi / Vietnamese rolls because it adds a particularly appropriate note to the dish. But it does not belong in Mexican food, or salads, or salsa, or anywhere in large quantities."

I deliberately chose seemingly unimportant issues that are generally polarizing anyway. Thus, no in between options, it would miss the point.
