Honestly, when we drove across the Nullabor I took some books and longstitch, but didn't do either, I just gazed at the landscape and noted vegetation changes and looked for wildlife and spotted some big willy-willys and it was awesome. So many people don't appreciate the landscape.

Me too! I LOVE going for long drives. The last time I did the three hour drive (not long, but yeah) to my parents' house all I wanted to do was park the car and get out and take pics, but I was in a bit of a rush.
