- Yesm
When did you first start reading/writing fanfiction?
- Long before I had ever heard the term fanfiction. I must have been writing My Little Pony Stories when I was 7, and at 12 years of age I had long elaborate tales in my head based on Robin Hood, Billy The Kid and JFK of all things (not together).
What was your first fandom?
- probably My Little Pony
First ship?
- Character I really liked/my Mary Sue character.
What website do you use most?
- LJ
What do you think of Fanfiction.net?
- A few nuggets of gold among a pile of badly spelled, wrong tense, grammatically incorrect shit.
What fandoms have you written in?
- My Little Pony
- Robin Hood
- Young Guns/Billy The Kid
- JFK
- Bon Jovi
- American Gothic
- Phantom of the Opera
- Batman
- Terminator
- X-men (a couple of short drabbles)
- probably others I can't remember.
What pairings have you written?
- Will Scarlett/Mary Sue
- Tom O'Folliard/Mary Sue
- Joker/Harley
- Harley/Bruce Wayne
- um, I actually don't do fanfic pairings that much.
Any fandoms you would like to write in?
- None that I don't already.
Do reviews affect how you write in any way?
- Seeing as 99% of my stuff is trapped in my head, not really.
Do you use a beta?
- I seek feedback from friends, but I don't publish often enough to really bother.
What ratings do you read/write?
- All of them. Most of my fic is G or PG, for violence rather than sex. Sex happens in great detail in my head, but I can't get it down on "paper". Hoorah for the discretion shot.
What warnings have you used on your fiction?
- Potentially crappy fic ahead. :p
Do you have any squicks?
- Not really. But some pairings are just WRONG. (And a few just WRONG pairings are absolutely hillarious to read).
Do you Role-play online?
- I used to. White-wolf based freeform vampire rp on mIRC.
Have you ever stolen something from another person's work?
- Fanfic is just a great melting pot of ideas. Everybody uses everybody else's ideas in different permutations.
Favourite fandom to write/read?
- Batman
- Terminator
- Phantom of the Opera
- I will immediately stop reading if certain things come up though, usually cliched lines from the movies and stuff like that. If I read another Joker fic where he says, "I'm not crazy, I'm not." I'll throttle the writer.
Favourite pairing?
- If written well any pairing works. Even weird ones like Crane/Schiff or Erik/Raoul.
How long should a chapter be?
- 4 pages.
Do you write/read drabbles?
- Seeing as I find it near on impossible to get a fully fleshed out story out of my head, drabbles are a godsend.
Any fandoms you avoid?
- If I'm not interested I won't read it.
Warnings you avoid?
- Nope.
What do you think of Mary Sues?
- They're a guilty pleasure if you're the writer. Reading other people's is generally cringeworthy.
Have you ever flamed someone?
- Not over fandom.
Have you ever been flamed?
- I've been on the internet for 12 years. You answer that question.
- Yesm
