1. Do you really eat things like spotted dick? no
Seriously? yep, never had it, have recipes for it tho
How about plum pudding, or whatever that thing is that you set on fire? yep! had the pudding set on fire. Gotta love that brandy.
What's a really common chain restaurant to eat at? McDonalds *puke*. Sizzler is pretty good/popular. Jimmy Deans is a great restaurant but there are only 2 of them.
2. Legal age to buy alcohol? 18
Legal age to buy cigarettes? 18
Legal age to buy or shoot a gun? umm, not sure. But gun laws are pretty stringent here. Legal age to drive? Probably something stupid like 15 or something, I honestly don't know, they changed the way it works since I got my licence.
Legal age to buy porn? 18 I guess
Are these enforced? pretty much.
3. Are any drugs legal other than cigarettes or alcohol? Cannabis is "decriminalised" in some areas.
Are any illiegal but not really enforced? Recreational use of small amounts of cannabis is commonplace.
4. Explain how school works. How do the ranks go? Gah, can't be stuffed. A, B, C, D, F. How does the grading system go? How much is mandatory? Do a lot of people drop out? *shrug*
5. How patriotic are people? *starts singing "I Am Australian", we're not stupid like Americans about it, but the country does rock.
Do they make you do things like sing the anthem/say the pledge? A shocking amount of peeps don't know the anthem properly and some don't even know what the actual anthem is!

What about the queen? yeah we're not a republic yet.
How do you guys feel about the queen? Yeah she's a cool old lady, but we don't really need her (but the tabloids do)
Isn't Parliament awesome? no, our government sucks donkeys.
6. What's the speed limit? depends on the area. Residential areas was reduced to 50km/h last year. Max is 100km/h
And what's that in real miles? dunno, we use metric here :p
7. How far do you consider a long way to drive, like something that would have to be worth it to go to? Umm, depends. The urban sprawl of Perth is about 100km north to south for starters. And seeing I've driven all over the country I just like to drive everywhere.
Would you drive 2 hours to see a concert? If I really wanted to see it, lucky I live in the city!
Is 100 miles reallyreally far to you? not sure about miles, so I'll take kilometers instead. When I was a kid 100k was soooo far! But now it's like "yeah just down the road."
8. What's the dumbest thing Americans do? Or is that too hard to pick? yes! Too many Americans are just dumb!
9. Is there anything about America that you like better than the UK? The theme parks *grinz*
10. Why is there a BBC America? No idea!
11. If I were to go there to visit, would you give me any advice? yep, I'd show you all the cool places :)
