Patagonian Toothfish is nice sure, but no more special than plenty of other types of fish that are more abundant and more sustainably fished. I won't be buying it again.

Cheat hollandaise sauce in the food processor though? Awesome. :)

Hrm, and my computer fan is starting to get noisy. Anyone know what I can do about that?

andrew just pulled mine apart last night to clean the fan. he has that air in a can stuff and he sprayed it all to get rid of the dust and he oiled some bits too. it's heaps quiet now.

Blow out the computer. If it's a desktop, open it up and blow everything out. It's probably dust clogging things up if it's getting noisier over time.

Check the computer for dust buildup, check the fan to see if a cable is obstructing it. If neither of these fix it you'll want to replace it eventually which will cost maybe $20.

I have had it with kae_dash before, and it was delightful. However, I also believe it is in the over fished category.

fan: hammer.
once they've become noisy, they rarely stop. it's dust and crap in the bearings, or the bearing wearing out. tapping it /may/ stop the noise but it's only temporary. replacement is the usual option. find out its size and replace it. don't buy from a computer store. they charge about 5 times the appropriate price. use jaycar or altronics, both of which are in northbridge and have much more reasonable prices.

Man, the computer isn't even a year old.

I just baked the fish with a bit of oil. I wanted to be as plain as possible to taste the fish.

It was good, no doubt. But I know plenty of more abundant and cheaper fish that taste just as good.
