"Wild" where? In wild Antarctica I'd die pretty quick. I'd freeze to death, and finding food out there would be a bitch.

I'd probably survive considerably longer in a well wooded area, as long as it wasn't too cold. I'd have shade and could construct shelter, and there would be plenty of plants and animals to eat. I'd just have to make sure I knew which plants were safe to eat.

Great minds think alike because I said like almost the same thing. Plus, the first thing I started off was the crack about Anartica and how screwed I would be. Scary same. LOL

Yeah, my first thought when I saw the question was 'where? Antarctica would suck (though I'd do better than most cos cold = good)'

Currently I'd suffer badly, being incapacitated. But I know my ways around a butchering knife, a gun and bow and arrows, so provided I had the miscellaneous stuff, I'd be good. I can also light fire and cook and have assisted with building log and mud-brick huts. Long ago, but the basic info is floating around in the brain somewhere.

Depends what season in Antartica. In the very short summer you would probably have plenty of animals to snack on. Especially penguins.

Hahah I've just been reading Ernest Shackelton's account of the Endurance expedition, and it seems they were able to lead Emperor Penguins over the ice to their boat by their flippers! :PPP
