It's a barren place out there

So, in my incessant Stumbling I found a site of funny signs. A lot of them are obviously photoshopped or made to be humorous. But among the 100% legitimate ones there is this.



That sign is on the Nullabor. I'm bound to have passed it a few times myself on my multiple Nullabor crossings. It wouldn't be the only one of it's kind on that road either.

i still think the best was at the border of qld and NT and there was one of those signs that have two letters to tell you what the next town is and then 520 under it.

There's probably another phone within 5km of that sign but going the other way. The sign is there to warn you that there won't be another emergency phone for a long while.

I guess if you breakdown and it's too far to walk, you just sit tight and flag down traffic - despite being in the middle of nowhere, it's the only sealed road from Western Australia to South Australia and has plenty of traffic on it.
