Debut night

Pania & Ben - Contemporary - Arkham issue orange straight jackets. This didn't do a huge amount for me. Ben reminds me of Anthony from last year.

Talia & E-Man - Cha-cha - not much cha-cha, but certainly entertaining.

Lamb and Timomatic - Lyrical - wow, I felt that. I'm not much into lyrical or contemporary but that was great.

Amy & Damien - Broadway - holy crap, she is spectacular. He was just filler. Heh, he's looking at the wrong camera.

Ash-Leigh & Stephen - Rumba - She was gorgeous, but she knew what she was doing. Unfortunate music. That was okay. I would have preferred a sexier rumba.

Penny & Charlie - Hip-Hop - She is so delightfully ditzy. Woo sexay, but is a vampire-themed dance gonna become a pre-requisite of each season? (Rhys and Gemma had one last season). I missed the lift they were talking about. But I couldn't take my eyes off them.

Kat & Rhys Two (also known as Danny) - Sorry, I was a bit distracted by the Spanish acapella version of Crying. It looked okay though. It didn't 'touch' me like it should - but again, maybe because I was preoccupied with the song.

Oh Goddamnit I wish my TV would keep it's reception. I preferred the old analogue TVs where if the reception was off, you'd just get a bit of snow. Now you get pixellation so you can't see anything and the sound breaks up too. Not good when you're trying to watch dances and listen to people talk.

Max & Jesse - Contemporary - Max is pale pink this week. I didn't really get that routine. That middle lift looked like they screwed up a bit.

Gianne & BJ - Quickstep - This bloke has my name. Holy crap, tough dance for two non-ballroomers. That was a pretty crappy quickstep but a good dance overall (except for that awkward last lift). I was entertained. That snake was beautiful, better than Rhys & Gemma's last year in their Paso Doble.

Chanelle & Loredo - Jazz - Nice synchronicity in some parts. Not really anything like Clockwork Orange though.

gianne and BJ rocked my little cotton socks. I also loved emmanuel and talia because god that was entertaining. emmanual might be to SYTYCD Australia what the little latino kid was to SYTYCD US

I wasnt big on chanelle, but I loved loredo. I was disappointed at the end of the dance when they didnt do the flip thing... but i could see the reason why and shit i had to look away from the TV

Amy & Damien only deserve points because she was wearing THAT and still able to dance.

Kat and danny I didnt like because i hate all the pansy arsed jumping about in most contempory. I lose the story when one of them starts doing that shit.

I found both the contempory's too hip hop/pop

penny is too ditzy for me and I want to slap her.... I dont have anger issues though. charlie was sweet though

I am struggling to remember lamb and tim and I think ashleigh an steven were poorly partnered.
