*sniff* *sniff*
Jan. 17th, 2009 08:41 amI smell smoke. I guess something is on fire nearby, no great surprise in this weather although this morning I was almost cold in bed.
Stepped on the ferns in the front garden yesterday in an attempt to get to the cats and discovered they are killer ferns from hell. My feet were bleeding and a huge chunk of some spiky thing got thoroughly lodged in my thong. I'm just worried I didn't get all the splinters out of my feet. My toe still hurts.

Date: 2009-01-17 03:05 am (UTC)I just spent about 15 minutes with a pair of tweezers, a poky thing and a bottle of peroxide and managed to dig out two teeny weeny splinters from my toe.
