My grandmother bought houses and overseas holidays with her winnings.

Alas she died before she could pass the secrets of betting successfully on the horses on to me.

I just went in the sweeps at school--didn't get a thing, so I'm down a tenner too.

Ah well. The year 11 Food Production students made us a nice lunch anyway. ;)
