They make medical supplies. Part of my uni booklist was a dissection kit. Turns out it's made by these guys.

For ages I've been wanting really fine pliers/tweezers for beading purposes. They are hard to find and expensive.

Then I rediscover my dissection kit. The fine, precision instruments for dissecting are really damn useful when doing fiddly beading stuff.

Maybe I'll get back into this beading buisness after all. :) My main problem is that I have a shitload of beads and findings, and most of it is cheap shit, which results in crappy jewellery. Oh well, it's good practice.

I'm currently trying to bead on ribbon - how do I get the beads to stay in their places and not slide around?

The only ideas I can think of for making the beads stay in place is knots or some kind of crimp bead next to the beads. Depending on the project neither of those might be very attractive :-(

I've been playing with my beading stuffs lately too. I'd forgotten how much fun (or how frustrating sometimes) it can be.
