I am full of fish and chips and Red Eye
Apr. 13th, 2008 08:35 pmThe cats are being amusing tonight. I bought in some corrougated cardboard which Lil quickly claimed and is now sleeping on, and Bella is making out with my b/f's T-shirt that is on the floor - she has a thing for his BO. Anyway, on to the dancing!
Rhys & Kate - Rumba
The music was distracting at first because I ADORE that song. It fitted the story, but wasn't so good for the rumba beat. Then I started to focus on the dancing - lovely. I want to hug and snofle Rhys/Kate. It's no secret that they're my top two.
Demi & Jack - Contemporary
Wow, intruging dance. You could really see Demi fall behind there. The locking was really her thing, but she fell out of unison and was a bit floppy while Jack just nailed it. Demi is tres cute, but as a dancer she just isn't at the level of Kate and Vanessa.
Graeme & Vanessa - Broadway
Have these two been together yet? *watches dance*... *squee!* Omigosh best routine of night. Entertaining and well executed. Anyone know which musical that song was from? Gah, Bonnie mentions "A Couple Of Swells", I was going to, but decided not to. I actually watched Easter Parade on Easter weekend (it was on TV), and saw just how good a dancer Fred Astaire was.
The Girls
Cute. They had fun with that. I wish it had focused more on all three of them instead of the first half being all Vanessa-centric. I wanted to see more Gangsta-Kate.
The Boys
Gah, now the cats are fighting, they always have a brief spat this time of the evening. I vote that all 3 boys should win. They are just all so much better than the girls. Rhys's eyelids are freaking me out. He blinks and you see this flash of silvery-yellow. I wonder if he does everyone's makeup.
This week - I'd send Demi home, but Vanessa probably will. As for a boy - I don't want ANY of them to go!

Date: 2008-04-13 01:26 pm (UTC)Rhys has the gay vote and I reckon that Jack has the teeny-bopper vote.
And Demi is the most memorable girl, plus she is the underdog, being an 'untrained' dancer plus she pulled the group one off heaps better than Vanessa & Kate.
