gemfyre | I love rocky road!

hehe, just made some.

Gotta love how much the picture and the actual recipe outcome always differ. The pic of this Rocky Road showed lovely rounded lumps of chocolate with marshmallows and cherries in it.

Well in practise, the marshmallows melt for starters. I only had half the amount of cherries so I added some popcorn instead (I was gonna add cashews but it seems dad has eaten them all). I stuck the cherries and most of the mallows in and already most of the chocolate was taken up but I put the popcorn in anyway. I got the chocolate covering everything but it's hardly the nice round lumps in the picture. It looks kinda like dog poop, but if the early stages are any indication of the taste of the finished product, it sure don't taste like dog shit!!

hehe, so it looks like nothing like the picture but I bet it'll still taste damn good. And I now have leftover popcorn and mallows to munch on.

I need a bunch of people to come up here in the very near future to help me eat mini-chocolate cheescakes. I bought the filling then realised it makes 10 so it would be better to make with lotsa people to eat it. But the filling will only last so long. So who's up for cheescakes and spa??
