Last night while trying to find a CD burning program on Tucows, I downloaded and installed one that had a trojan attatched.

It seems to have an eaten an important file called port.txt before I could get rid of it.

Hopefully once I find the disc that came with the modem that will fix it up. Hopefully.

Grrr. I thought Tucows had proper downloads.

Anyone have a simple program that can burn MP3s to an audio CD that you could send over?

You should contact tucows and whichever provider is sponsoring the mirror you used about it. It's probably accidental.

Anyway I have nero which works nicely if you wanted a copy (Jakie and Rod will probably offer the same, methinks)

Also if you're using WinXP it can do it itself..

Can you turn MP3s into an audio CD just using windows?

I'm trying to do it with media player, but the updated version is completely NON user-friendly.

It's also telling me my laptop does not have a burning device, and I swear I have burned CDs with it previously.

When I did it, I just added a heap of MP3s into the drive like as if I was burning a data CD, then when I clidked write to disk it offered me to do it as an audio CD. I believe from there it jumps to WMP. Perhaps this is something they removed with the new version (I purposefully DIDN'T upgrade to it..)
