Nostalgia kicks in
Oct. 23rd, 2006 07:01 pmAll of sudden I had the urge to look up pictures of 80's toys.
I can't find the Play Doh Flower Makin' Basket anywhere - anyone remember that?
I'm also thinking of a doll with moons and stars and a makeup wand thing, you dipped it in water and wiped it on her face and makeup appeared.
And animals that cried real tears (or am I hallucinating that one?)
And Nosey Bears!
I also had this thing that crushed ice so you could make your own sno cones, I hardly ever used it though.
Aww man, toys suck these days.

Lil' Miss Makeup, perhaps?

No, I think they were called "Lost ones" or something or other.

Date: 2006-10-24 04:47 am (UTC)That's the one I was thinking of. I had it, and played with it constantly till I got a Lil' Miss Mermaid. They were these largish plump girly dolls with bountiful amounts of golden curly hair. Too cute.
And I had that snow cone device you mentioned. Can't remember the name but it was in the shape of a snow man and you'd take his hat off and put ice in his head and turn a handle on his back. Then you take the ice shavings out of his belly and squeeze a flavour on it from a little penguin. Tasted sooo good.
