if the book is available on amazon.ca (canada) order it from there, as their dollar is closer to ours than the US$
no idea about the conversion fees though, it's usually a percentage of the amount you are convertine. I think it's somewhere between 3 and 5%, but this is just guessing from the charges my Dad got while we were in Hong Kong.
Yes but stuff here in Canada usually costs more than in the states, accounting for the currency difference... and we're getting screwed right now becuase the up in prices still stand even though the Canadian dollar is getting really close to the US dollar right now (it's at like 91% I think).
Amazo.ca usually has higher prices than Amazon.com
I don't think it's much--I've ordered overseas before and not found it being much more than expected. I use this for a rough estimate of the conversion before I buy. It's not gonna be exact, of course, but it gives you a better idea.
Also, I take it you've checked you can't get it at Dymocks or Angus and Robertson online? Otherwise, use the ISBN to do a search there and if they have it you'll get it quicker and without conversion worries.
re fleas - ring termico, ask for liz, tell her how you know me, that you want an indoor outdoor treatment, and Richard told me to tell you to tell liz it was priced TBA

I ended up getting a pair off Amazon, they're a deal if you get both and they seem the best for my purposes.
