Date: 2006-01-18 01:10 am (UTC)They're $130 each, $100 for older cats (the ones that aren't in the kitten enclosures). $30 vaccination when they're about 4months. Umm . .. food for a kitten costs about $20 per week. They eat a lot when they're growing.
Then you'll need stuff like bedding ($10-$50), scratching pole ($25-$100), litter tray ($8), litter ($4-$15), food bowls, toys and such.
It's hard to figure it all out, especially when you're just thinking of getting the actual cat. And I've found the best toy that's carried about and fought over is a long piece of wool tied up in a messy ball. It seems to move when you're not looking ;)
