Before I head to Adelaide

I shall reveal the answers to the last music meme.
Interesting that the first song is about a dog and the last one is about a cat.
1. Pet the dog, pet the dog, pet the dog... - That would be Jessie by Paw.
2. Promise or a dare... - No-one's getting these Jars of Clay songs. This one is Five Candles (You Were There)
3. Educated with money... - Girls don't like boys girls like cars and money! Of course, it's Girls And Boys by Good Charlotte.
4. While he was schemin'... - I'm glad Sarah finally got this. Hit 'Em Style by Blu Cantrell. A song I would never have been interested in if Chanel hadn't sung it during last year's Idol.
5. There is a game I play... - Caroline got this. The Big Comedown by Nine Inch Nails. I've actually barely listened to this song, or the Fragile album. I really must do so.
6. Didn't I tell you everything was possible... - This is a song called June Afternoon by Roxette. Another one I'd never really heard before. I actually have many MP3s of songs I don't know.
7. I saw you there, just standing there... - The 80's classic, Doctor Doctor by the Thompson Twins.
8. Please mother mercy take me from this place... - No it's not Queen, it's Temple Of The Dog and the song is sic. Say Hello 2 Heaven (the album cover actually has it written like that).
9. Touch my skin and tell me what you're thinking... - This is a Dido song and I haven't really listened to this album yet. The song is called Take My Hand.
10. Feel the rhythm in your feet then you gotta start moving... - The obscure song of the lot. This is a funky little ditty called OYO by a local band called Toothfaeries. The whole album is pretty cool in my opinion.
11. She's got a smile that it seems to me... - Shame on anyone who didn't pick this (especially if you're one of the karaoke crowd!) This of course is Sweet Child O' Mine by Guns 'N' Roses.
12. There's two things I know for sure... - The disgustingly sappy Butterfly Kisses by Bob Carlisle.
13. I need an easy friend... - Another grunge anthem. And Kurt Cobain's first posthumous hit. About A Girl by Nirvana.
14. I was angry when I met you... - Push It by Garbage. I agree, Shirley Manson rocketh.
15. Put on my blue suede shoes... - No, it's not Elvis, but a song about him. Walking In Memphis by Marc Cohn.
16. I talk of freedom you talk of the flag... - I like how Sarah got this right away. It's called White, Discussion, it's performed by Live, and I believe it's the last song on the huge Throwing Copper album.
17. She's blood, flesh and bone... - This was a big hit a while back, I'm surprised it took so long for someone to get it. She's So High by Tal Bachman. I'm still considering singing this at karaoke, despite the fact that it would sound weird coming from a female.
18. So you wanna be a cowboy... - Ah those high school classics. This is Stick To Your Guns by Bon Jovi, and I knew Sarah would pounce on it.
19. I just want to feel safe in my own skin... - And random picks another Dido song I don't know! This is called Honestly OK.
20. Delilah, Delilah... - Now, most of you were thinking Tom Jones weren't you? For that song you'd be seeking the lyric, "I saw the light on the night that I passed by her window". This one is an amusing song by Queen called Delilah, about a beloved, yet naughty cat.
Thank you and goodnight!
