Step 1: Get your playlist together, put it on random, and play.
Step 2: Write down the first line from the first 20 songs that play or close to it.
Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song the lines come from.
Step 4: Cross out the songs when someone guesses correctly.

Using the lappy playlist because it's the biggest. (It's so annoying having 3 computers!)

1. I don't believe in an interventionist god...
2. You broke my heart 'cause I couldn't dance...
3. How can you see into my eyes like open doors...
4. Ladies and gentlemen. Wear sunscreen!
5. Oh it's a happening thing, and it's happening to you...
6. I guess this time you're really leaving...
7. Lonely lovers cry, why me Lord I didn't mean to do it...
8. Woke up in a cold sweat in the middle of the night...
9. Love, love is a verb...
10. My baby's gone to jail...
11. All packed up heading for unknown...
12. This generation rules the nation with version...

14. Everybody has a ghost...
15. Stand beside me all the while no matter what goes wrong...
16. I'd like to believe that you love me...
17. It's not hard to know what you're thinking...
18. I wanna run, I want to hide...
19. Well you got me working so hard lately...

Although Bon Jovi are notorious for recycling lyrics so Bitter Wine probably starts that way too.

Huh. thought I rushed it a bit. It's older than that, isn't it? Slippery or Jersey or *possibly* Faith. Similar sound. Hmmm...

Ooh damn, I can *hear* it in my head!

you say you've cried a thousand rivers, but now you're swimming for the shore
you left me drowning in my tears, baby you won't save me anymore

...I Want You?
