There are currently 2 kids staying here (with their parents).
The girl is 3 and the boy is 8 months.

If I can have a guarantee my kids will be like these kids I will be having kids.

Can I have a guarantee then make a decision?

Ah yes, but first I would like plenty of money and to have done all the fun kid-free things I want to do.

You get no guarantee with kids but you can come pretty close by your own actions, inactions and stuff from when you get pregnant onwards.

And everythign I've ever done I can still do with kids aside from pubbing and clubbing, which I never do anyway. We still take Tiny to parties :) Guess it was an easy transition coz we don't go out much due to having 5 cats and a dog.

yeah, the way kids are brought up is a major effect on their way they act and their attitude towards life.

Basical routine and structuring things helps but like life there is no guarentee .

I've seen a child that didn't have the structure and routine and lets just say he is a real little monster , oh course I could never point this out to his parents mainly cos of the phrase "What would you know , you don't have kids ?"

You can still do kid free things , even when you have kids , you just have to have a good reliable babysitters on call , ok relatively on call.

I recently had (like last night) 2 kids staying with me. (I was babysitting). They were angels --> really well behaved. Did everything I asked of them and didn't do anything I didn't ask of them.

I really wanted children 2 days ago --> now I am happy without them. Why? Because they needed my attention for way too long!! God damn it felt sooooo long. I don't have that much of me to go around.

I think I'll wait for kids.

Meanwhile, I've been helping (vaguely) take care of my nieces and cousins, the Crazy Monkey Girls.

Wonderful kids, but they would SO scare all the birds off. O_o
