Those bowerbirds...

Are mimicking. I haven't seen much of them these past few days but this eerie mimicry is becoming more commonplace. This morning I heard a rather good rendition of a tern and a goshawk, as well as human-like murmurs and the usual growls and squawks.

Rhyllis's birthday today, everyone's going into town for dinner.

And someone outside is smoking. Stinky bugger. *chokes* I came here for fresh air, and still find it tainted.
