Cannon netting today

My first time doing a twinkle. Pity a sea-eagle did the work for us and scared the birds the wrong way.

I got shat on 3 times today. Once by a black-winged stilt and twice by bar-tailed godwits.

I also learned that godwits are worse than cats for scratchiness. I hope my leg doesn't get infected.

Handled terns today - less squirmy than waders but they bite instead, luckily not very painfully.

Going to another beach along the bay to "scare" the birds towards the netting area.
