The hunt is on again

This year I'm unable to participate but I'll sure watch!

Just enjoying my day off, pity the damn flies won't leave me alone. Matt gets here in 22 days! Hopefully today I can research (and maybe even book) somewhere in town to stay for a couple of days.

There are currently 200 or so pelicans on the bay in front of the BBO, must be a huge shoal of fish around or something.

It was freezing this morning, 14.9C! Now I'm hot and sweaty again and only wearing this neat sarong/dress thing I bought at the markets. I'm gonna hafta buy more of these, as well as some of the nice tops and skirts available.

I'm having a year of summer! Once I get back to Perth it will be summer again and I'll be ready to party (and have lovely new clothes to wear). Can't wait to get back again.

yeah, i want to avoid winters too when I've got a job. I like the joke from the 12th man talking about richie retiring, "Hell, I haven't seen a winter in 40 years"

Aaawwww I miss the markets!!! Everytime I go to Broome for a visit (2 or 3 times a year) I buy soaps from there and bring them back to Perth. My friends have been known to steal them from the bathroom coz they love them so much! =)
