The egret, the heron, and the snavelrat

The people up here become like a kind of family. Pat just dropped in one day and on suggestion of staying the night said he was thinking about it. 3 weeks later he's still here and helping out a lot. Don and Cynthia also just intended to stay a few nights and have been almost 2 weeks now. Don recently recieved an astronomy telescope and we're now having astronomy nights which are awesome. He's also been pottering around trying to figure out why the generator kicks on so easily. Jo from Mornington arrived today and we're chatting with her like a sister. Anyone you can sit and chat to for more than 5 minutes becomes a family member.
