We lost about 10,000 Godwit tonight. They're all winging their way to China right now.

Crippling views of dowitchers this morning. How I wish I had a good camera.

when I first read that I though 'eek, disaster with the cannon netting????' Glad to hear they simply buggered off under their own steam :D

I do enjoy reading of your adventures! I'm not much of an ornathologist (and can I spell it even?) or bird watcher but I did do a Biology degree and am interested in others experiences.
