gemfyreYeah today I went shopping. Man I could go poor in that bead shop. The resin beads! The hematite! *droolz* As it was I didn't buy a thing, I'll wait for my beads to be shipped up.
What I did buy -
- a smaller backpack - so I can carry more water, a field guide, my binos, a notebook and maybe lunch with me easily.
- a bunch of books. The first and last of the Merlin series (put my name down in case the second comes in), a book about Nevado Del Ruiz and the nearby volcano and the disasters that surrounded them, and a big book full of gorgeous bird photos.
- a campfire jaffle maker - that will at least partly make up for the lack of a griller.
- pasta bake sauce and veges - for dinner.
- an ice cream - multi-fruit sorbet and mango ice cream, yummy.
- 2 tops (2 for $15 at Jay Jays). A pink one with a cute turtle that says "Do not disturb - I'm disturbed enough already!" - I had to have that one. I bought a nice yellow top with a lacy bit around the bust just to get the 2 for $15 special.
I still need reef sandals.
And thus my weekend is almost over. Alas - next week I have the split weekend.
