Mar. 14th, 2005 06:35 pmBunch of people rocked up, both parties expecting caged birds. I figure I'll go down to the platform with them to show them what the bay is REALLY about. So we go down there, tide is near perfect... NO fucking birds! Probably due to the high tides we're getting they're all over in the salt marsh but I couldn't believe it. 2 great egrets, one white-faced heron and one mangrove heron... oh and a few terns. Bloody hell. At least the little girl liked the frogs. :)
Bloody humid and hot today, I had absolutely NO energy.
Mudding tomorrow, must head off at 6:30am. *joy*
Lots of other stuff that I really should jot down during the day so my posts are more interesting.
