Bummer at the beach

It sucks to be living so close to the beach (I can hear the wader flocks from the office here), but not be able to swim.

Summer is the time for stingers in the water, but even if there weren't stingers I still couldn't swim because it's a mangrove flat full of protected waders - which you don't want to scare.

I wish I had my own car, I'd be nicking off to town all the time. I hope I do get into town and can do things there, or this is gonna be hell.

yeah, that would be anoying for you. being able to get around on your own is such a great advantage, so i hope you can get to use the vahicles there to go into town when you need to. provided you aren't working.

Broome and Perth weather

Not too bad in the mornings and evenings because rain has been coming through.

Around 30 during the day but bloody humid. We're over the dune and in the trees from the beach but we still get a bit of breeze sometimes.

perhaps a trail bike would be a better idea?
