I just burned a few music CDs from my MP3s. In the process I'd moved all the MP3s I wanted to burn into a seperate folder.

After I burned the discs I deleted the folder didn't I? And I mean the delete from the recycle bin too.

How awfully clever of me.

Now I need to find a free program that rips CDs to MP3.

Should have made it a data cd. If your cd player can read them.

It can't.

Hence my making of music CDs.

I also put a bunch on a data CD for saving reasons but those songs aren't on it.

http://cdexos.sourceforge.net/

;-)

You can rip audio cds to either wav or mp3 files, and you can also convert wav and mp3 back and forth. Handiness.

(this is what I used to rip all my CDs to mp3 files before I sold all my CDs on ebay.)
