I was hoping to know about the job before Christmas because it would affect my Christmas list greatly. I sure as hell didn't expect to find out on the day applications closed!

Nice wide brimmed hat
Fly net to put over the hat
Some nice insect repellant made of sandalwood or something - something non-aerosol and without all those evil chemicals that are in most repellants
A pair of boots appropriate for walking in mangrove mud
Part of my plane fare or freight costs to get up there
Pizzey & Knight's field guide (latest edition)
A small bar fridge (maybe)
RAOU Australian Bird Atlas
"Birding Sites Around Perth" - Birds Aus book

More as I think of them.

hey I don't know where you find it but my parents got a Natures Own insect repellant with eucalyptus and tea tree oil and some other natural things in it, it is a lotion and fairly cheap, easy to apply and doesn't smell like rid *yay good thing!!!* maybe a health food store or coles or something??

I shall investigate. :)

Those chemically ones smell bad, are bad for you and don't work anyway.
