But sometimes cold showers are even better.
Yes, I have returned. I drove about 800km all on my lonesome, some on the evil Muir Highway from hell and I didn't die.
There is bird crap on the tent and on my backpack - just to prove I've been birding. ;)

Do avoid it though--the first post LJ-cut but there are a couple after that who didn't.
Apperently the wait was agonising with the old "we'll find out who won in just a few moments!!" for at least an hour beforehand. That would have made me want to kill. Still I'm stuck at work so I don't get to see it anyway.

When she audiotioned she was in mismatched shoes and a trakkie and looked very grungy, but her voice is utterly amazing.
During the competition she's just become this utterly stunning young woman. What she wears in the competion is just beautiful. She's a big girl too which makes it all the better.
If I bought CDs these days I could see myself buying an album by her, but certainly not one by Anthony - the other finalist.
