I hope this ponyfeatherz moron just keeps asking about dogs and never actually gets one.

She's now wanting a border collie again. One wonders what part of "working dogs will go insane living in an apartment" doesn't she understand?

Maybe she'll learn when the dog tears her house to shreds, but then the dog will probably suffer for it.

I can't stand when people are so dead set on getting a certain breed even when it isn't right for them. Course I've never been a fan of ponyfeatherz.

Though I haven't been able to get into the TP lately. Whenever I'm there, I can read for a few minutes, and then IE shuts down. I really hope they move soon.

I'm starting to doubt the move ><. The mods seem pretty busy away from the TP, so if it happens, I bet it's not going to be for a while again. It's closing down your IE? Ick. It's not doing too much to me right now, as long as I run that spyware program thingy every few days.

As far as ponyfeatherz goes, I'm having a hard time accepting the argument that it's inappropriate for her. I totally respect where you guys are coming from, and I get totally miffed when people get pets that they can't care for, but I posted about my dog who was really similar to the one she's getting, and she was an exceptional, happy, loving dog, even though she didn't have a ton of running space all the time (she did run though, go outside, play, etc). It's just my own experience that I'm forming my own conclusions from, so I'm not trying to negate what everyone's saying. I don't know the size of her apt. I don't know if she has the time to take the dog for walks and runs, I don't know how much land her apt. is on... considering everything... I guess I don't really know if it's inappropriate for her or not. I know all this talking about the dog is making me miss Tippy though. We lost her to cancer last August :(. Regardless, I hope if she gets it, that she can care for it the way it needs to be.

Nah, I haven't even seen the thread. So it's probably inappropriate for me to comment anyway. It's mostly what I've seen happen in other situations. It's too bad about the TP, I miss it but I won't take the chance that it's going to muck up my comp.

Do you have programs like Admuncher and popup blockers on your computer?

I use them and have no problems.

Yeah, I have a firewall and a popup blocker, and after the gold status went down, I didn't have any problems. It was fine up until just a few days ago.

I have a kelpie, and although he has a big yard to play in, he spends his day lying on the back step. He gets a minimum of 1 run in the park a day, and sometimes he gets 3 walks in a day. I love Kelpies and I am offended every time someone says you can't have a Kelpie in the city. Its just not true!

The weird thing is, I don't think she even reads most of the replies she gets because she barely acknowledged our advice, much less backed up why she thinks it will be okay to get the dog. I hope she can do some kind of trial period before actually adopting the dog, and I hope that she finds a suitible dog so she stops posting "What about this one?" every other day.
