lotus79 to Brighton Beach. The water was cold! And salty. But I got used to it.
Saw silver gulls, nothing unusual or exciting. A pair of crested terns. Slightly interesting but not massively unusual. Saw a juvenille pacific gull. Never seen one this far north before, but I had read that there have been recent sightings of one in the area. And a flock of black and white waders flew by!! My first impressions are that they were banded stilts, which are new to my list!!
Wow.
We then came home and watched Idol. That was fun.
